KaddyKeeper
Leave a food caddy out to be collected on a windy day and after it has been emptied you will find out why you need a KaddyKeeper!
Conceived, designed and created by our members in our workshop, the KaddyKeepers cost £15 or £20 depending on the type of protective coating.
A simple idea but then again, the simplest ideas etc etc.

Compost Bin
This novel compost bin is made by the members of the Black Isle Men's Shed and all money raised through sales of produce help with our running costs. As can be seen from the photo in our Facebook Marketplace entry, the bin is supplied as bundles of slats along with an instruction sheet on how to assemble it. This is a simple process and does not require any tools. The slanted slats at the front can be removed and are designed to cope with the different heights of compost in the bin. The approximate size of the item is as follows; length and width overall is 90cm. height is about 75cm.
Units can be collected from our Shed in Avoch or we may be able to deliver to addresses in the Fortrose/Avoch/North Kessock areas.
The cost of each compost bin is £50.

KaddyHanger
Currently under development, the KaddyHanger is a simple device which allows the Highland Council food caddy to be securely fixed to the inside of a kitchen cupboard door. Additionally, with the addition of the supplied pulley system the lid of the caddy opens automagically whenever the cupboard door is opened!
A short promotional video will explain the concept more fully but other than us having delivering a few test installations, this item is not yet on general release.
